Where do I even begin? My family came into a desperate time of need and didn't know what to do or who to turn to. This is when our prayers were answered. Idalia and Dignify a Diva came to the rescue without hesitation and with an open heart. We needed items for two little ones to help with making a terrible situation just a little bit easier to navigate. Thanks to donations and support we were able to get the items needed to care for the little ones. What an impact that made! I have also reached out in search of resources to help a young lady in need and Dignify a Diva came through with valuable information and guidance. I can honestly say that I have never believed in a cause so much before as I do this one. I know without a doubt that their donations and support go to those in need and not their own pockets. If you are looking for somewhere to donate to help those in need, this is hands down the place. If you are in need of help, don't hesitate to reach out! There is SO much love and goodness to be found here and I know that if I myself or someone I know is in need, this is the place to go. Thank you for all that you have done for my family and others, you truly are a blessing!
I met Idalia, President, and Founder of Dignify A Diva, several months ago at her annual Daddy Daughter Dance Event. During that time, an unforeseen circumstance caused tremendous hardship for my family. Adalia made it possible for my daughter and husband to attend that special event.
Ms. Idalia and all of her staff were so kind and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked into the door. My daughter and husband had such a great time, and on top of that, they won the best-dressed award. This was entirely unexpected, and it felt so good seeing my family so happy!
I would strongly recommend this organization to any woman or child in need of empowerment. I'm glad I was able to meet Idalia. She has many resources that can help so many women and children in need. This is an organization that I would choose to volunteer my time because they looked out for me when I was in need.
In 2018 I left a mentally and somewhat physically abusive relationship. I stayed with a few friends while looking for apartments or a home to rent. In February of 2019, I lost employment due to a contract ending. I had some money saved, but I didn't have a car, so transportation, hotel, and food cost were adding up. In March, I believe it was my friend who connected me with Idalia, who is an Angel here on earth. She called and texted me and asked me what I needed. Even small things for myself like coffee and chocolate. During all of this, my grandmother was sick and ultimately passed away. She made sure we had a safe room and food until the day I left for a phoenix to attend my grandmother's funeral. From there, we went to my family's home while we couldn't stay long term due to the number of people currently living in the home, we came back to Atlanta. We were placed in a shelter right after my daughter started school; it was close to her school. In September, my sister also advocated for me by assisting me to get a car that our dad paid for. She knew it would be easier for us to get around that way. So we have a car, and we are in our own place now, and I am currently doing a paid internship with Randstad; while things are rough due to Covid-19 and bills are still very much due and expected, I am trying to maintain a healthy mindset about it all. Every time I speak to Idalia, she gives me hope and motivation to keep going. She is truly an angel on earth. I couldn't have imagined anyone else assisting me without ever meeting me; first; she jumped right into it after our first phone conversation. If you ever need anything, reach out to Dignify a Diva; she has a heart of gold and will do whatever she can to assist you, as well as make sure you're happy and taking care of you.

"OMG, what a difference a day makes, and the power of conversation and relationships. A week before the Power in the purse event, we ran low on purses to give our participants. In the midst of conversion with another amazing sister, Anana, I mentioned we needed purses, and she hooked me up. You! You were our saving grace! We conversed on Monday, and by Friday, you had over 40 nice, gently used purses for our event filled with toiletries for our women participating in our Self-care Revolution Power in the Purse Series. I fought back the tears because I could only imagine our participants' joy that someone cared enough to donate such nice purses to them. The Power
in the Purse organizers can’t thank you enough for contributing to our event's huge success. Thank You for coming through in the clutch! You are truly a
Power in the Purse!"
